In forwarding the observations of the Superintendent of the Government Civil Hospital on the report concerning his duties by Deputy Surgeon General Mackinnon CB and F Bain, as I have been specially alluded to

I desire to make some comments on that portion of his letter

The Superintendent complains his work has become yearly more arduous but he fails to point out in what particular manner,

I therefore give the following figures which I think hardly agree with his assertion
